Is anyone designing a logo can a group connect on that. Is this a non-profit? Could and should it be a coop or global foundation? I wish deeply that I could make it there in the next few days. Just getting my feet wet and here to learn and understand more. Katchina and Adam are going to be there, thats cool. What your up to sounds cool. How new is all this? Do you plan to connect with OS Labs at schools? Are you hoping to be able to be supported for this work by foundations ect.? I'm here to help. We did create a logo prior to the event, but it hasn't been posted yet. I'll see if someone can get that on the site. We're not 'stuck' with the logo - can make improvements, etc if someone wants to take that on.
We haven't yet decided on the legal structure of the organization - that's part of why we're here. I'm in favor of a non-profit, so look for more information once those conversations have taken place.
SourceTree Commons is fairly new - the first community conversations took place in February of this year, and this is our first work intensive to focus on building the community and tools.
